Blood on the Clocktower At Ancient Robot
Blood on the Clocktower runs on Friday night, every two weeks at Ancient Robot Games. Tickets go up on the first Sunday of each month in the evening. They tend to sell out quickly, so make sure you’re quick on the draw to avoid dissapointment. Tickets are booked through our regular “Events” section. Event Description:
Do you enjoy games that are at times hilarious simply because you’re rubbish at bluffing? Well, have we got a game for you.
Cockroach Poker is a reverse set collection game that has nothing to do with poker – except that the game is all about bluffing, with cards that show cockroaches, rats, stink bugs and a variety of other critters.
The goal is to force another player to collect 4 of any one type of critter.
How do you do that? Well you try to get people to take cards from you that are not the card you say it is…
If you like the sound of that then join the team from Ancient Robot Games who will be running a friendly ‘tournament’ of Cockroach Poker on the Sunday of the convention.

Event Description:
Like Carcassonne? Want to take part in a friendly ‘tournament’?
Well you’re in luck as that’s what the team from Ancient Robot Games are hosting on the Sunday of the convention.
16 players, taking part in 4-player games over 4 rounds.
The games will be played using the current version of the rules for Carcassonne.

09:30 – 10:00 – Registration
10:00 – 10:50 – Round 1
10:50 – 11:40 – Round 2
11:40 – 12:30 – Lunch
12:30 – 13:20 – Round 3

In addition to the above the event itself has a few extra rules:
The event will use the base Carcassonne game and will not include The River or The Abbot.
Players will be awarded points based on where they place in each round as follows; first gets 4 points, second 3 points, third 2 points, and fourth 1 point.
Over the 4 rounds the players will take part in a round-robin format, with no-one playing the same player more than once.
Notes:
To ensure we have enough copies of Carcassonne to host the event we ask that players bring a copy of the base game with them. For a 16 player event we need 4 copies of the game.
If we have less than 16 players total then some groups may have less than 4 players, in that case the scoring will remain as is, with first still getting 4 points etc.

Sign up as a group or join others to play through a variety of games including Santorini, Love Letter, Sushi Go, Cockroach Poker, The Crew, Dobble, Cobra Paw, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza and Deep Sea Adventure.

Description: Based on 32 players, the event will be 5 rounds of Swiss (55 minutes) followed by Top 4 Cut (single elimination).
The Premier format is the standard format for all Competitive-tier Star Wars: Unlimited events.
A legal Premier deck consists of the following:
Exactly 1 leader and exactly 1 base
A minimum 50-card draw deck
A sideboard of up to 10 cards (Note: leaders and bases cannot be included in the sideboard)
All cards must be from sets designated as “Premier-legal,” which currently is any officially-released set.
Between the draw deck and sideboard, there can be no more than three (3) copies of any card. For this purpose, a “copy” is any card that shares a title and subtitle with another card, regardless if they have different art, foiling, or graphic design elements.

Ancient Robot Games spearhead League
Come test your mettle in the new edition of Age of Sigmar in fast paced and exciting Spearhead games. Each week, you'll be paired with your opponent. You'll have a week to get your game in and then I'll release new pairings on the Sunday night! This league isn't supposed to be super super competitive, just a way for us all to give it a go.
